Quest’ultimo lavoro risulta più curato dal punto di vista dei suoni e degli arrangiamenti (soltanto uno dei pezzi, Girl From The City By The Sea, è una one-take di sola chitarra e voce).

Una gestazione breve per trasmettere l’urgenza, la semplicità e la spontaneità di questi sei brani. Un disco che parla indirettamente di relazioni, vita e sopratutto amore.

L’amore come un errore in cui si ricade continuamente
Un amore passato ma mai realmente dimenticato
Un amore filiale
Un amore verso una persona che ormai non lo ricambia più
Un amore verso una persona che non si potrà mai avere
Un amore incondizionato per il quale si rinuncia a tutto.

Al contempo non c’è una canzone d’amore che possa essere definita “classica” e c’è sempre una visione un po’ pessimista e triste nelle vicende descritte (eccezion fatta per Love Her Like The Morning).
